ok go figure someone made a comment about guns not being bad... well they are... they are meant to kill things how good is that?  now if we all had to hunt to survive then you might be able to make an argument that guns were good... but no we don't and last i checked it was bad to kill things (especially people) so yes they are bad... now we can all argue the merits of the 2nd amendment but the truth is it was created so that people could form militias because the government could not afford a suitable military... times have changed...  households with guns are 5 times as likely to experience a suicide than households without guns...  about the police doing whatever they want... the police are already shooting unarmed people because they know whenever they go out on the job they could get shot so they aren't about to wait and see if someone else shoots them first... this wouldn't be an issue if everyone didn't have guns... and about only criminals having guns if they are outlawed... for some reason reason the same party that believe only criminals will have guns if they are outlawed also believes outlawing drugs will prevent anyone from using them... well first of all drugs are a hell of a lot easier to produce and smuggle into the country than guns... can you imagine a bunch of poor inner city kids buying 5,000 dollar guns and then arming themselves with 500 dollar bullets?  whoever they shoot damn well desrved it cause they aren't about to waste 500 dollars on nothing (as chris rock believes)... also there are 340,000 firearm thefts each year (this excludes the guns that are bought legally and then sold to criminals)... this proves that by having guns legal we are arming criminals... and most of all if you don't think legal gun owners are arming the wrong people, i'm not the one you should talk to... the parents of the columbine victims are the ones to talk to...
